Ulysse Nardin Blast Tourbillon

Ulysse Nardin's Blast Tourbillon, reference 1725-400/02, has a 45 mm case built from titanium and 18 ct gold. The case measures 12.6 mm thick and is fitted with a sapphire crystal. Inside runs the self-winding calibre UN-172, a flying tourbillon movement with a 72 hour power reserve. The tourbillon sits on view through the dial, its cage visible against a black, grey and 5N dial with twelve indexes. This is a piece built around a single complication, and it shows in the openness of the layout. An alligator and rubber strap completes the watch. Water resistance is rated to 50 metres.
