Rolex 1908 39 mm

The Rolex 1908, reference 52509-0002, has a 39 mm case in white gold. The bezel is fluted at the lower edge and domed above, sitting on a slim, polished case. Rolex fits the dial, finished in intense black, under a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. Inside is the calibre 7140, a self-winding mechanical movement certified as a chronometer, offering 66 hours of power reserve. The dial shows a small seconds display, and the domed transparent case back reveals the movement. As a dress watch the 1908 keeps its detailing restrained, matched to a matt black alligator leather strap fitted with a folding white gold Dualclasp. The case is rated waterproof to 50 metres.
