Rolex 1908 39 mm

The Rolex 1908, reference 52508-0007, measures 39 mm in yellow gold. The case has a bezel that is part domed and part fluted, a design detail unique to this line. The dial is intense black and sits under a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. Inside is the self-winding calibre 7140, a manufacture movement certified as a chronometer, offering 66 hours of power reserve and a small seconds display at 6 o'clock. A domed transparent case back shows the movement through the reverse. The watch is fitted with the Settimo bracelet in yellow gold, built from seven small polished links and closed with a concealed folding Crownclasp. Rolex rates the case to 50 metres of water resistance.
