Rolex 1908 39 mm

The Rolex 1908, reference 52506-0003, has a 39 mm platinum case with a polished finish. The bezel is domed and fluted, part of the slim, understated profile Rolex gives this model. A scratch-resistant sapphire crystal covers the ice blue dial, which carries a guilloché rice-grain motif radiating from the small seconds counter at 6 o'clock. Inside is the calibre 7140, a self-winding mechanical movement with a power reserve of approximately 66 hours. The watch is a chronometer, certified as a Superlative Chronometer after casing. Its display back shows the movement through a domed, anti-reflective case back. The dial is paired with a matt black alligator leather strap on a platinum Dualclasp, a double folding clasp designed to sit centred on the wrist. The case is waterproof to 50 metres.
