Rolex 1908 39 mm

The Rolex 1908, reference 52508-0006, measures 39 mm in yellow gold with a polished finish. The bezel is fluted at its lower edge and domed above, sitting on a slim, dressy case. The intense white dial pairs with a small seconds subdial at 6 o'clock and sits under a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. Inside is the calibre 7140, a self-winding perpetual movement with a power reserve of approximately 66 hours, certified as a Superlative Chronometer. The domed case back is transparent, showing the movement from the reverse. The watch comes on a matt brown alligator leather strap fitted with a double folding Dualclasp in yellow gold. Rolex rates the case to 50 metres, modest for the range but standard for a dress watch of this kind.
