Ref. 310.32.40.50.06.001
Omega's Speedmaster First OMEGA in Space, reference 310.32.40.50.06.001, is a chronograph with a 39.7 mm steel case. The case measures 13.38 mm thick with a lug-to-lug span of 48 mm. A sapphire crystal shaped to resemble Hesalite covers the blue-grey dial, and it carries an anti-reflective coating on the underside. The manual-winding calibre 3861 drives the watch, a Co-Axial escapement movement certified as a Master Chronometer and resistant to magnetic fields up to 15,000 gauss, with a power reserve of 50 hours. Small seconds and a tachymeter scale round out the dial layout. A black grained calf leather strap closes with a steel pin buckle. That buckle secures a case built to withstand 50 metres of water pressure.
