IWC Schaffhausen Portugieser Automatic 42

The IWC Schaffhausen Portugieser Automatic 42, reference IW501704, has a steel case measuring 42.4 mm across. The case stands 13 mm thick and carries a water resistance rating of 50 metres. Inside is a self-winding, IWC-manufactured movement, calibre 52011, with a power reserve of 168 hours. A blue dial sits beneath a sapphire crystal, and the display back shows the movement's rotor with its gold medallion. Small seconds appear opposite a power reserve display, alongside a date function. This layout, with the two registers set on either side of the dial, has marked the Portugieser Automatic 42 since its introduction in 2000. The watch is fitted with a steel bracelet.
