Blancpain Villeret Ultraplate

Blancpain's Villeret Ultraplate, reference 6651 3642 MMB, has a 40 mm case in red gold. The case measures 8.7 mm thick, with lugs spaced 22 mm apart, and the opaline dial sits under a sapphire crystal. Inside is calibre 1151, a self-winding movement with a power reserve of 100 hours. The watch shows central seconds and a date display. Blancpain also equips it with a secured movement, a design meant to protect the mechanism from damage when the watch is set. The dial pairs with a Mille Mailles strap and a folding clasp in red gold. Water resistance is modest: the case is rated to 30 metres, enough for splashes but not for swimming.
