Blancpain Villeret Ultraplate

Blancpain's Villeret Ultraplate, reference 6651 3642 55B, has a 40 mm case in red gold. The case measures 8.7 mm thick, slim enough to justify the "Ultraplate" name, and a sapphire crystal covers the opaline dial. Inside is the self-winding calibre 1151, which stores 100 hours of power reserve. The dial keeps things simple with a central seconds hand and a date window, nothing more. An alligator leather strap closes on a folding clasp, giving the watch a dressed appearance suited to daily wear. Blancpain rates the case to a modest 30 metres, enough for accidental splashes but not for swimming.
