Blancpain's Villeret Ultraplate 6606A 3642 55B is a 40 mm case in red gold. The case measures 8.55 mm thick, slim enough to sit close to the wrist, and the lug width comes in at 22 mm. A sapphire crystal covers the opaline dial. Inside is the manual-winding calibre 11C5.4, with a power reserve of 72 hours displayed on the dial. Small seconds and a date function round out the layout, keeping it legible and uncluttered. The watch is fitted to an alligator leather strap secured with a folding clasp. Water resistance is modest here: the case is rated to 30 metres, enough for everyday wear but not for swimming.
