Blancpain's Villeret Ultraplate 6224N 1142 55B is a steel watch measuring 38 mm across. The case stands 8.35 mm thick and carries a lug width of 20 mm, keeping the profile slim. A sapphire crystal covers the opaline dial, which shows a central seconds display and a date window. Inside is the self-winding calibre 1150, giving a power reserve of 100 hours. The movement also incorporates Blancpain's secured mechanism, which protects the gear train from damage when setting the time. An alligator leather strap closes on a folding clasp. Water resistance is modest here: the case is built to withstand 30 metres.
