The Blancpain Villeret Ultraplate 6224 1127 95A has a 38 mm steel case. The case measures 8.35 mm thick, with lugs set at 20 mm apart. A sapphire crystal covers the white dial, which carries central seconds and a date window. The self-winding calibre 1150 drives the watch and stores 100 hours of power reserve, well beyond most automatic movements of this size. Blancpain fits the case with a secured movement, a construction meant to protect the mechanism from accidental damage during setting. The watch comes on a pin buckle strap, part of a set of five interchangeable straps. Water resistance is rated to 30 metres.
