Blancpain's Villeret Grande Date, reference 6669 1127 55B, is a 40 mm steel watch with a case measuring 10.95 mm thick. The white dial sits behind a sapphire crystal and shows a large date display alongside a central seconds hand. Inside is the self-winding calibre 6950, which stores 72 hours of power reserve, well above the industry norm of two days. The date mechanism is set apart by its oversized twin apertures, a Villeret signature that makes the day of the month easy to read at a glance. A lug width of 22 mm carries an alligator leather strap, closed with a folding clasp. The case is water-resistant to 30 metres, enough for everyday wear but not for swimming or diving.
