Blancpain Villeret Chronographe Monopoussoir

Blancpain's Villeret Chronographe Monopoussoir, reference 6685 3642 55B, is a chronograph in a 40.3 mm red gold case. The case measures 12.9 mm thick, with a 22 mm lug width for the strap fitting. Inside is the self-winding calibre 66CM8, giving 40 hours of power reserve, visible under a sapphire crystal. The stamped flinqué opaline dial carries a single-pusher chronograph alongside a full calendar with date, weekday and month, plus a moon phase display and small seconds. This is a complete calendar watch in the traditional Villeret style, dense with functions but read from one dial. The alligator leather strap closes with a folding clasp. Water resistance is a modest 30 metres, in keeping with a dress chronograph rather than a tool watch.
