Blancpain's Ladybird Colors Phases de Lune, reference 3662D 1954 55B, comes in a white gold case measuring 34.9 mm across and 10.43 mm thick. The mother-of-pearl dial is set with diamonds, giving the watch its jewel-like character. Inside is the self-winding calibre 1163L, offering a power reserve of 100 hours, and the dial is covered by a sapphire crystal. The watch combines a moon phase display with small seconds, both read against the textured mother-of-pearl surface. A folding clasp secures the alligator leather strap to the wrist. Blancpain rates the case to 30 metres, enough to withstand splashes but not sustained immersion.
