Blancpain's Fifty Fathoms Automatique 5007 36B40 O52A is a dive watch cased in red gold at 38.2 mm. The case measures 12 mm thick, with a lug width of 19 mm. A unidirectional rotating bezel surrounds the sunburst blue dial, which sits under a sapphire crystal. Inside is the self-winding calibre 1150, a movement that gives a power reserve of 100 hours. Central seconds and a date function round out the display, both easily read against the blue dial. The watch is fitted to a sail-canvas strap secured with a pin buckle, a lighter alternative to a metal bracelet. Blancpain rates the case to 300 metres.
