Blancpain Bathyscaphe

Blancpain's Bathyscaphe 5100 1127 W52A is a steel dive watch with a case diameter of 38 mm. The case measures 10.8 mm thick and carries a 20 mm lug width, sized for a compact fit on the wrist. A sapphire crystal covers the white dial, which is set up with central seconds and a date window. The self-winding calibre 1150 drives the watch and stores 100 hours of power reserve, well beyond the standard two-day norm for automatics. This movement includes Blancpain's secured mechanism, built to guard against damage when the crown is set or wound at the wrong moment. A sail-canvas strap with a pin buckle completes the package. The case is rated to 300 metres, comfortably suited to serious diving use.
