Blancpain Bathyscaphe

Blancpain's Bathyscaphe 5100 1127 NATA is a steel-cased dive watch measuring 38 mm across and 10.8 mm thick. The case carries a self-winding calibre 1150 movement with a power reserve of 100 hours, viewed through a sapphire crystal. The white dial shows a central seconds display and a date window, both easy to read against the plain background. Lug width is 20 mm, matched to a NATO-style textile strap closed with a pin buckle. This combination of steel case and textile strap keeps the watch light on the wrist despite its dive-watch specification. The case is rated to 300 metres, which puts it well within the range expected of a proper dive watch.
