Blancpain Bathyscaphe

Blancpain's Bathyscaphe 5100 1127 NAHA is a steel dive watch with a case measuring 38 mm across and 10.8 mm thick. The white dial sits behind a sapphire crystal and shows a date window along with a central seconds display. Self-winding calibre 1150 drives the watch, with a power reserve of 100 hours. Lug width is 20 mm, which suits the NATO-style textile strap fitted here. The strap closes with a simple pin buckle rather than a folding clasp. Blancpain also builds a secured movement into the 1150, a construction meant to guard against damage when the crown is pulled out for setting. Water resistance runs to 300 metres, ample for the diving this watch is designed for.
