Blancpain Air Command

Blancpain's Air Command AC03 36B40 63A is a chronograph in red gold, with a case measuring 36.2 mm across. The case stands 11 mm thick and takes a strap of 18 mm at the lugs. A sunburst blue dial sits under a sapphire crystal. Inside is the self-winding calibre F188B, with 40 hours of power reserve. The watch combines flyback chronograph function with a small seconds display, useful for split timing without stopping the main hand. It comes on a calf leather strap with a pin buckle. Water resistance is modest: the case holds to 30 metres, enough for daily wear but not for diving.
