Audemars Piguet's Grande Sonnerie Carillon Supersonnerie, reference 26397QA.OO.D002KB.01, comes in a black ceramic case measuring 41 mm across and 13.6 mm thick. The openworked dial sits beneath a sapphire crystal, allowing a view of the manual-winding calibre 2956 below. This movement is hand-wound and drives one of the most demanding complications in watchmaking: a minute repeater built on Grande Sonnerie and Petite Sonnerie functions, alongside small seconds. The chiming mechanism is engineered to project sound with exceptional clarity, a hallmark of AP's Supersonnerie technology. A black rubber strap with yellow gold-coloured stitching completes the piece, fastened by an 18-carat yellow gold folding clasp. Despite its complexity, the case still carries a water resistance rating of 30 metres.
