Audemars Piguet's Code Grande Sonnerie Carillon Supersonnerie, reference 26397NR.OO.D002KB.01, has a black ceramic case measuring 41 mm across and 13.6 mm thick. The openworked dial sits under a sapphire crystal, exposing the mechanism that drives the chiming functions. Inside is the manual-winding calibre 2956, built around the Grande Sonnerie and minute repeater complications, with small seconds as a quieter addition. Few watches attempt Grande Sonnerie, Petite Sonnerie and minute repeater together, and AP does so here with a Supersonnerie system designed to project sound through the ceramic case. The watch is fitted on a black rubber strap with pink gold coloured stitching, closed by an 18-carat pink gold folding clasp. Water resistance is a modest 30 metres, fitting for a piece built for acoustics rather than diving.
