The case stands 13.6 mm thick and carries an openworked dial under a sapphire crystal, exposing the mechanism beneath. Inside runs the hand-wound calibre 2956, a construction that combines a grande sonnerie and petite sonnerie with a minute repeater, alongside a small seconds display. This is a limited edition made to mark the manufacture's 150th anniversary, and the chiming mechanism is the point of the piece rather than an added function. The watch is fitted to a black rubber strap with calfskin lining, closed by a folding clasp in rose gold. Water resistance is modest for a piece this complicated: the case is rated to 30 metres.
