The EPSON-PX82A is a kinetic quartz movement manufactured by ETA SA in Japan. It generates electrical energy from wrist motion through an oscillating weight, storing power in a rechargeable capacitor rather than a traditional mainspring. The automatic winding system charges the power reserve while timekeeping relies on conventional quartz regulation. A date complication displays through a window. The movement features a built-in power reserve indicator activated by a side button at the 2 o'clock position, with the seconds hand position indicating remaining charge. The PX82A has been available to non-Seiko brands since at least 2020.
