Rolex 9002

Caliber 9002 is an in-house automatic movement made in Switzerland and used in the Sky-Dweller 42 mm. It measures 33 mm across, runs at 28,800 vph with 40 jewels, and offers a 72-hour power reserve, with winding handled through a ball-bearing rotor with bidirectional automatic winding. The movement combines an annual calendar with month and date displays, an instantaneous date change, and a GMT function with 24-hour hand and sweep seconds, supported by a Chronergy escapement, a Parachrom hairspring, and Paraflex shock protection.
