The Rolex Cal. 1055 is an automatic movement introduced in 1954 as part of the in-house 10xx caliber family. Operating at 18,000 vph, it powered the Oyster Perpetual Date. The movement has been discontinued, succeeded by later generations of Rolex manufacture calibers.
