Family: 10xx18,000 vph (2.5 Hz)
Caliber 1036 is an automatic movement introduced by Rolex in 1957 as the first movement designed for the GMT-Master reference 6542. Operating at 18,000 vibrations per hour, it features a date display and 24-hour hand for tracking a second time zone. The movement was produced in-house by Rolex and was discontinued after a relatively short production run, replaced by subsequent GMT-Master calibers.
