The Rolex caliber 1600 is a 17-jewel manual-winding movement manufactured in Switzerland and released in 1964. It features Kif shock protection and displays hours and minutes only. The movement is entirely in-house. The caliber 1601 succeeded it with increased jewel count, while the 1602 variant appears in modern Cellini models.
