The Rolex 618 is a manual-winding movement supplied by Panerai in 1950. It comes from the early post-war period when Panerai used unmodified Rolex calibers in its Radiomir watches before developing in-house movements. Production ended as Panerai established its own manufacture. The caliber is now sought after by collectors for its historical role in this transitional era for the brand.
