Family: OP
OP IX is Panerai's automatic GMT movement based on the ETA 2892-A2 with a GMT module added. It is not an in-house caliber, belonging instead to the OP family of modified Swiss ébauches. The movement was used in several Panerai Luminor and Radiomir models with dual-time functionality. Production has been discontinued, succeeded by Panerai's in-house P.9000 series calibers.
