OP VIII is an automatic chronograph movement manufactured by Panerai. The caliber is a modified version of the Zenith El Primero, the automatic chronograph originally designed by Zenith. It was used exclusively in the PAM 196 Mare Nostrum, Panerai's interpretation of a 1940s chronograph. Production has been discontinued.
