Zeitwinkel
ActiveZeitwinkel is an independent Swiss watchmaker producing mechanical watches with its own automatic manufacture movements in Saint-Imier.
Zeitwinkel was founded in 2006 by watch enthusiasts, including Ivica Maksimovic and Peter Nikolaus. Serial-production watches followed in 2009. Its proprietary ZW0102 and ZW0103 automatic movements use German-silver plates and bridges. Zeitwinkel makes some movement components in its own workshop and obtains others from regional suppliers, then finishes, assembles, regulates and tests the movements and watches by hand. The company describes its current capacity as approximately one hundred watches a year and says it remains independent and managed by its founders.
