West End's roots lie with Alcide Droz & Sons in Saint-Imier. The first West End watches were produced for the Indian market in 1886. The company was taken over by the Monnat family in 2001 and relocated to Valais, where its watches are assembled and tested in Leytron using third-party ETA self-winding calibres.
