Swiss watch brand known for the Official Swiss Railways Watch featuring Hans Hilfiker's 1944 clock design.

Mondaine Watch Ltd. is a Swiss watch brand founded in Pfäffikon, Schwyz by Erwin Bernheim in 1967. Initially, Bernheim exported wristwatches manufactured by different Swiss watchmakers. Subsequently, he started manufacturing lever watches at Remonta AG, a subsidiary of Mondaine in Biberist, Switzerland. Its line of Mondaine watches are heavily influenced by classical Swiss railway clocks, called the Official Swiss Railways Watch, with the design licensed from the Swiss Federal Railways in 1986. This design, by Hans Hilfiker, originated in 1944. In 2013, a redesigned model was launched under the name stop2go, featuring a unique movement where the second hand stops at the 12 numeral for two seconds. In 2006, Mondaine purchased a 50% stake of American Luminox company. In 2016, Mondaine took over the remaining part of the Luminox company and manufactured these watches in Switzerland using the Swiss made label.
