Straton Watch Co.

Straton Watch Co. was founded in 2015 by Kyle Schut, a South African watch enthusiast and race driver who moved to Switzerland. The brand launched with a highly successful Kickstarter campaign for the Vintage Driver Chrono, which raised over 10 times its funding goal. Since then, Straton has collectively raised approximately 350,000 CHF through crowdfunding and has delivered thousands of watches to customers worldwide. The brand's design philosophy draws heavily from 1970s motorsport culture, with collections inspired by racing teams like Martini. Kyle Schut, who has 15+ years of watch industry experience, has used Straton's success to pursue competitive racing on the Nürburgring Nordschleife, winning multiple races in the RCN and VLN series. The brand celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2025 with the relaunch of the popular Curve Chrono MKII.
