NORQAIN

NORQAIN was founded in March 2018 by Ben Küffer, who left his corporate position in the Swiss watch industry to fulfill his dream of building an independent watch company. He was joined by co-founders Ted Schneider, a member of the Schneider family that owned Breitling for nearly 40 years, and Mark Streit, Swiss ice hockey legend and Stanley Cup winner. The brand launched with watches assembled at their production facility in Tavannes in the Bernese Jura. In February 2020, NORQAIN announced a landmark partnership with Kenissi, the movement manufacturer affiliated with Tudor and Rolex, leading to the development of exclusive manufacture calibers including the NN20/1 three-hand movement and NN20/2 GMT. In 2022, the brand introduced the revolutionary Wild ONE collection featuring the proprietary NORTEQ® carbon fiber polymer material, which is six times lighter than steel. Jean-Claude Biver, the legendary watch industry executive, serves as advisor to the board, guiding the brand's innovation strategy. In 2024, NORQAIN unveiled the 8K Manufacture Calibre (NK24/1) developed with Manufacture AMT, a skeletonized flyback chronograph inspired by the world's highest peaks.
