Mechanic and self-taught watchmaker Daniel Nebel developed Nord Zeitmaschine as a one-person operation in northern Switzerland. He made cases, dials and display mechanisms, while using ETA base movements. Variocurve, Quickindicator, Freesdial and Crossnroll explored moving hands, discs and changing display geometry. Nebel died on 20 September 2020. Retailer Fréret-Roy reports that its final four watches were sold in winter 2020 and that no more Nord Zeitmaschine watches are available.
