Hugo Boss

Hugo Boss was founded in 1924 by Hugo Ferdinand Boss in Metzingen, Germany, initially as a clothing manufacturer. The company evolved into a major global fashion house over the following decades. In 2005, Hugo Boss entered into an exclusive licensing agreement with Movado Group for the production and distribution of BOSS-branded watches. This partnership expanded in 2017 to include HUGO watches for a younger demographic, and in 2020, BOSS jewelry was added to the license. The relationship has been renewed multiple times, most recently extended through 2031 in September 2024. The partnership combines Movado Group's century of watchmaking expertise with Hugo Boss's contemporary fashion design philosophy.
