GoS Watches
ActiveGoS Watches is a Swedish independent watchmaker specializing in hand-forged Damascus steel dials, cases and movement components. Its watches combine locally made and finished parts with Swiss-supplied mechanical movements.
GoS began in 2007 as a partnership between bladesmith Johan Gustafsson and watchmaker Patrik Sjögren. Based in Linköping, it developed watches inspired by Scandinavian nature and craft traditions. Patrik Sjögren became sole owner in summer 2021, with Conny Persson providing Damascus steel. The workshop manufactures and finishes components including hands, dials, crowns and movement parts, but uses third-party Swiss base movements. The hand-wound Winter Nights used a Technotime TT718 base; the automatic Norrsken and Winter Nights III use movements produced by Schwarz Etienne and customized by GoS.
