Corniche

Corniche was founded on August 16, 2013, when three Swedish friends combined their passions for watches and fashion. The brand name derives from the famous coastal cliff roads between Nice and Menton on the French Riviera-the Grande Corniche, Moyenne Corniche, and Corniche Inférieure-where the founders spent childhood summers in Sanary Sur Mer, Provence. Their family home happened to sit on Avenue de la Corniche. The brand launched with the Mistral 40, featuring Roman numerals. In 2018, Corniche celebrated its 5th anniversary by releasing the Heritage Chronograph, their first complication watch featuring the Seiko VK64 hybrid meca-quartz movement. The brand has since shipped to 128 countries and produced numerous limited editions inspired by French Riviera locations including collaborations with Paloma Beach and Club-des-Sports-Courchevel.
