Damasko
ActiveGerman watch manufacturer specializing in robust tool watches featuring proprietary ice-hardened steel technology and in-house movements.
Damasko was founded in 1994 by Konrad Damasko in Barbing, Germany, initially as a materials technology company with expertise in high-performance steel hardening processes developed for aerospace applications. Until 2002, Damasko supplied hardened watch cases to Sinn, the German watchmaker. After the partnership ended, Damasko transitioned into producing complete watches under their own brand. The company achieved a major milestone in 2010 with the release of their first in-house manufacture calibre, the A35 automatic movement, elevating them to the elite circle of true watch manufacturers. This was followed by the H35 manual-winding movement in 2012. In 2007, the DC56 aviator chronograph was certified as the official wristwatch for Eurofighter test pilots at Airbus Defence & Space in Manching. Today, Damasko manufacture movements achieve up to 90% in-house production depth, and the company holds over 100 patents, utility models, and registered designs.
