Vacheron Constantin Traditionnelle self-winding

Vacheron Constantin's Traditionnelle self-winding, reference 87172/000R-9302, has a 38 mm case in rose gold. The case measures 8.02 mm thick and the dial sits under a sapphire crystal. The white dial shows a date aperture at 3 o'clock and small seconds at 9 o'clock, set against a railway-style minute track. Inside is the self-winding calibre 2455/1, running with a 40 hour power reserve and carrying the Hallmark of Geneva. Through the display back the finishing of the movement and the oscillating weight are visible. The watch is fitted to an alligator leather strap closed with a rose gold pin buckle. Water resistance is a modest 30 metres, enough for everyday wear but not for swimming.
