Vacheron Constantin's Traditionnelle manual-winding, reference 82172/000R-9382, measures 38 mm in rose gold. The case stands 7.77 mm thick and carries a sapphire crystal front and back. Inside is the manual-winding calibre 4400 AS/270, bearing the Hallmark of Geneva and running with a power reserve of 65 hours. The white dial shows a railway minute-track and a small seconds subdial, and through the display back the finishing on the movement is visible. This is a dress watch built around traditional Genevan craftsmanship rather than added complications. It comes on an alligator leather strap fastened with a rose gold pin buckle.
