Vacheron Constantin Fiftysix tourbillon

Vacheron Constantin's Fiftysix tourbillon, reference 6000E/000R-B488, is a 41 mm rose gold watch with a case measuring 10.94 mm thick. The white dial sits under a sapphire crystal and shows small seconds on the tourbillon carriage, with luminous hands and indices for legibility in low light. Inside is the self-winding calibre 2160/1, a tourbillon movement carrying the Hallmark of Geneva, with a power reserve of 80 hours. The sapphire caseback lets the movement show through, along with the peripheral rotor that winds it. The watch is fitted to an alligator leather strap closed by a folding clasp in rose gold. Water resistance is modest for a dress piece of this kind: the case holds a rating of 30 metres.
