Vacheron Constantin Fiftysix day-date

Vacheron Constantin's Fiftysix day-date, reference 4400E/000R-B436, comes in a rose gold case measuring 40 mm across and 11.6 mm thick. A sapphire crystal covers the silver dial, and the transparent sapphire caseback on the reverse shows the self-winding calibre 2475 SC/2 beneath it. The movement runs with 40 hours of power reserve and carries the Geneva Seal. Central seconds, weekday and date appear alongside a power reserve display, and the hands and indices are luminous. The case rests on an alligator leather strap closed with a rose gold pin buckle. Water resistance is a modest 30 metres, enough for everyday wear but no more.
