Ulysse Nardin Freak ONE

Ulysse Nardin's Freak ONE, reference 2405-500-2A/3D, measures 44 mm across in a titanium and 18 ct gold case. The case stands 13.37 mm thick and does away with a conventional dial, hands or crown, the rotating movement itself showing the hours and minutes under a sapphire crystal. Inside is the self-winding calibre UN-240, with 15 jewels and a DIAMonSIL escapement. The flying carousel construction is the display, and power reserve runs to 90 hours, a notable figure for a watch of this type. The watch comes on a textured rubber strap. Water resistance is a modest 30 metres, enough for everyday wear but not for diving.
