The Richard Mille RM 33-03 Automatic has a tonneau-shaped case and an off-centre monoblock platinum rotor. Skeletonised self-winding calibre RMXP3 drives hours, minutes and small seconds, with a power reserve of around 40 hours. The movement contains 29 jewels, operates at 3 Hz and winds bidirectionally. A semi-instantaneous date appears above a white field at 5 o'clock, and the case has a tripartite construction. Grade 5 titanium baseplate and bridges receive Titalyt and black PVD treatments, with sandblasting, microblasting, satin finishing and hand-produced anglage. Red gold numerals are mounted on rigid titanium rails between the flange and movement.
