Richard Mille RM 012 Tourbillon
Manual WindingRef. RM 012
The Richard Mille RM 012 Tourbillon has an angled tubular movement structure. Manual-winding calibre RM012 displays hours and minutes, with working parts integrated into the supporting architecture. Phynox tubes replace a solid metal baseplate and are inserted into Invar before being joined in three dimensions. Development required two years and four prototypes, followed by several months of movement assembly. Production is a limited edition of 30 pieces. Launched in 2006, the watch won the Aiguille d'Or at the Grand Prix de l'Horlogerie de Genève and the Grand Prix de l'Horlogerie - Asia Edition.
