The Richard Mille RM 010 Automatic has a skeletonised movement with a ribbed baseplate. Self-winding calibre RMAS7 powers hours and minutes, with a date in the display. The baseplate and bridges are made of grade 5 titanium. The alloy contains 90% titanium, 6% aluminium and 4% vanadium. A variable-geometry rotor is constructed in several sections from three different materials. The rotor's inertia can be altered to change the winding speed according to the owner's activity level.
