Richard Mille RM 008-V2 Tourbillon Split-seconds Chronograph
Manual WindingRef. RM 008-V2
The Richard Mille RM 008-V2 Tourbillon Split-seconds Chronograph combines a tourbillon with a split-seconds chronograph. Manual-winding calibre RM008-V2 drives hours, minutes and seconds, with a 30-minute totaliser and power-reserve indicator. The regulating carriage contains 85 parts, and the baseplate is made from carbon nanofibre. The ribbed edge of the baseplate is part of the supporting structure. This isotropic composite is moulded at a pressure of 7,500 N/cm2 and a temperature of 2,000 degrees Celsius. Titanium gear wheels and levers are incorporated in the timing mechanism, whose development includes research into the split-seconds arms.
